Times does indeed fly quickly around here these days. I've been really busy running about places like a headless chook. Not a good look indeed. But yup, busy is good at times. So, first up, I went on TV! National Australian tv! Apart from sounding like a duck in my awkward accent, sitting funny (The etiquette teacher back when I was at high school would not be happy), plus looking like I'm so proud with my head all titled (I was SO nervous and was just thinking. I got asked hard questions!)...Yes, apart from all of that, I am honestly just so thrilled and thankful to even have gotten this amazing opportunity.
Words cannot describe my joy and gratitude to everyone, all of you in fact! All of your support, encouragement and emails have just touched my heart and allowed me to grow in my art making adventures. I know I don't reply comments on this blog (simply don't have the time to keep up), but I do read and smile at every single one of it and always say a silent thank you to each one of you : ) Of course, all these wouldn't have happened if not for my amazing family, friends, teachers over the past years and my super God too. You people know who you are, you guys rock! Heh! For those of you who would like to watch a non-laggy, better cut video, you can do so here, on The Circle's website. It is, however, only viewable within Australia.
Well, apart from Being on Tv, I've also just relaunced my new website. Yuppie doddledee! I've been working on it behind the scenes, rearranging bits and pieces, uploading new work. And it's finally done! It kind of took a lot longer than expected. But I just got too busy and tired. But yay, it's now up. Hooray! Click here to visit.
Tv, website and businesscard news aside, I've just launched a new seafood print! Inspired by my recent trip to Tasmania - the land of clear waters and super fresh seafood, I've painted a piece, filled with all my very favourite seafoody bits! Scallops, lobsters, crabs... oh yum!
