I spent last Sunday running a painting workshop for adults at the beautiful Heide Museum. After almost an entire week of wet and muggy weather, it was a glorious day and the sun shone so brightly. Thank goodness for SPF 50 sunblock! We spent our time in Heide's garden and drew yummy things from the veggie patches and bushes. Rhubarbs, lavendar, cabbages, lettuces, pansies and so on. Everyone painted lovely pieces, it made me super proud looking at everyone's colourful completed work at the end of the class! Outdoor Painting at Heide MuseumFor those of you keen, I'm going to be hosting my very last painting workshop for the year. It's going to be on the 11th November and we'll be painting pizzas, herbs and vegetables at Ladro in Greville St. More details soon. A few of you have emailed and asked about private classes in both Melbourne and Singapore. I'd really love to take on a few more classes but for now, I am truly and utterly pooped out from this year. In fact, this might come as a bit of a shock but I am officially going to be taking a long break from classes and art making after the year wraps up. I've been going full steam for about 2 years, Working all through Christmas, New years, even on holidays and it's high time I take a break. My life seems to be so fully of colour and fun all the time but that's because I don't really blog much about the downs of it all. I like, after all, being positive (:

So yup, if you're after an ice cream pillow, print or anything from my shop, you can either get it in person at this weekend's Finders Keepers ( Which I am very excited for! ) Or you can get it online. Once everything sells out I'll be starting fresh again next year in perhaps April or March. I'll be back then with new work. I'll still be blogging though from now till then. I'll just be closing my online shop and not doing anymore classes.

Oh and because I always enjoy sharing news and exciting things in my life, guess what... ... I GOT A TEACHING JOB LINED UP FOR NEXT YEAR! I went for an interview before I went on holidays  to Singapore and I got the call yesterday. I had to fight back tears of joy over the phone. Haha. I'm so so so thankful and so blessed to be able to teach in a lovely school. Can't wait!
