Seems like I've been spending way too much time dreaming over beautiful handmade goodies. First cardigans, now jewellery. Trust me, I'm really holding it all back. Of late, I've been looking at so much good stuff, Ilana Kohn's new SS12 range, Jennifer/Ermie's SS'12 sneak peeks. The Mexico Dress pictures that Jennifer's posted on instagram, they make me go dizzy! (In a good way!) I have both Ilana's scarf (extremely lucky ebay find), and Jennifer's Magic Marker shift dress.(Saved up like crazy and bought it last year when there was a big sale. A birthday treat for myself!)

There's just so much pretty-ness happening right now with everyone launching their respective AW/SS'12 range, my heart's exploding! I always spend so much time looking at handmade objects, I pass it off as inspiration. I know... I know.. In what way has beautiful bracelets, dresses and cardigans got to do with watercolour drawings of food?! Sigh! Oh well, It's the smartest excuse I can think of! Haha.

Poor Darren, he gets shown all these girly stuff every night! Oops! Oh and if you're wondering about the beautiful, delicate arrow bracelets shown above, I'm so excited to say I'm getting one for my birthday this year! (Yes, I turn 25 in April!) Darren, being as awesome as he already is, is getting me one of Odette's arrow bracelets! THANK YOU DARREN! He knows I've been wanting one since it first came out. Truth is, I never actually wear bracelets. I feel they kind of get in the way when I draw. But of late, I've been telling myself I need to dress up a little bit more. A while ago, I bought myself two little thread-style bracelets. One with a tiny fish dangling at the side. (To remind me of my love for fish and chips), the other one's pretty much just a thin friendship band with brass beads 'woven' in. Clean, simple, not over-the-top.

I really like how clean-cut this Odette bracelet is. It's subtle, delicate and unique all rolled into one. I can't wait to receive it in the mail. I'm sure I'll feel special and a little more girly whenever I wear it! Oh and might I point out, Jennifer, the lady behind Odette, also has a beautiful blog. It's on my daily reading list, along with Jennifer/Ermie, Ilana Kohn and Jenny/Wiksten's inspiring blogs!
