Leaving On A Jet Plane....

Yes! I am finally able to visit the US again (HOME!) and I am going on a little weekend vacay to a mysterious place that promises to be a swell time for all involved.

I am actually sitting on a plane while you read this...

ETA: I have had a HUGE lungful of Miami air by now too. I almost died dead right there on the curb.

Now more than ever, I know I am coming back soon. SOON.

A whole weekend of peace, calm and good things with people I had been dying to be with. Finally!

So, my lovelies, I will be back next week, with a new outlook, rested and happy to have been back home even if for a few days, while the trip back home for good happens.

Have a wonderful weekend. I will do the same. Whoohoo.

Au revoir, mes belles!

Ski Trip Part 2 : Falls Creek!

Somehow I got busy and ended up in a flurry of activity and totally forgot to upload the next bunch of pictures from our ski trip holiday. It was only about a week and a half ago when we returned, but already it seems like weeks! Ah. Time does fly when you're busy. So here they are. My cheesy holiday snaps, all posted up here for your amusement! Hah!

That's Darren, busy building his igloo. And that's me, all engrossed and totally into observing a snow hornet. Those insects, they're AMAZING. They seem to not be able to die! I swear I kind of squished it by accident. No let me correct that. I kind of just stomped on it without seeing. And I was wearing my super chunky, heavy and hard ski boots. I am not an evil insect-killer. I am just curious 99% of the time. I promise!

Font Love: New Ones To Love.

I have to say I not only love all these new font finds, but the tons of doodle brushes I found are making me giddy. Found them all through a simple Google search of "doodles Photoshop brushes". I never bookmarked each one, so I can't give you links... Sorry.

Being this close to Friday is also making me giddy. Ha!
Enjoy your Thursday, pretty people.

I Feel Pretty, Oh So Pretty...

Here I am with a new post I had been wanting to make for a while. These are my every day beauty must haves. The stuff I use every single day and have for a while.

All are tried and true, keep coming back to them products that I simply cannot live without. I started taking care of my skin at about 14 and never stopped. I have been blessed with very kind, age gracefully genes, but my daily routine is a huge part of it.

So, here they are. I like shopping online, so all of these goodies can be found and bought on the interwebs.

What are yours? I'm always looking for the next great thing... Like I need any more. Ha!

All digital elements are Paislee Press. Font is Ostrich.

Enable me, will you?
Happy Wednesday, lovely people.

Jacket: Topshop; Dress: Modcloth/Swapaholics swap in NYC (similar style here); Shoes: Zara; Bag: Chanel; Sunglasses: Karen Walker; Jewelry: J. Crew necklace, Michael Kors watch, H&M cuff bracelet

A few short weeks ago I had the chance to spend a lovely afternoon in NYC with two of my favorite bloggers, Alicia of Cheetah is the New Black and Helena of Brooklyn Blonde. After a relaxing brunch (sipping bellinis no less!) we headed out for a bit of shopping in Soho, eventually getting lost into the depths of Topshop (you're not surprised, are you?). About a half an hour later, reconvening in front of the fitting room, we couldn't help but laugh: we ALL grabbed this same Burberry-esque trench coat.

Now how's that for great minds thinking alike?

And today for your viewing pleasure, do go check out Helena and Alicia, to see how they've styled their jacket! I'll meet you over there!

For those of you who follow me on Twitter, you might recognize this skirt as one of the golden treasures I scooped up yesterday while shopping on Haight street. Now if I had only shown up a mere minutes earlier to my favorite vintage haunt, Wasteland, I would have walked away with the most breathtakingly beautiful pair of YSL heels, ever. Can't win 'em all though, right?

I spent my Saturday with a bunch of little kiddos, making ourselves happy Spongebob pirate hats and treasure boxes. I ran a crafty arty party and my my! I have never seen SO much yellow in one room! Spongebob was everywhere! Seriously. Spongebob balloons, hats, serviettes, toys, etc. So cute! It was so much fun and thanks to Darren who stayed and filmed bits of the party, I now have a video for all to see. Hooray! I do apologise for my first-timer lousy video making skills though! Haha. Thanks Jess for inviting me over. Happy 4th Spongebobby birthday Mister Milo!

And yes, the Spongebob boxes we made, do double up as 'treasure boxes' too! The kids were all happily stuffing their own boxes with so much candy, it was hilarious. " More! More more! We need to fill it up with lots of gold coins and treasure! "
